How can we make LSOP Live better? By including you!

We aren’t the only creative folks in town. We want to showcase some of the amazing creative young scientists out there!

We have a new feature of LSOP Live we will roll out on our next episode—we are going to give a family the chance to be part of the show! We will spotlight you on Zoom and have you show us something cool.

Here’s what we want you to do: Make us a short video showing what you would show us on the next episode. If we like what we see, we’ll send you details of how we’ll include you, and when.

Our next show is the goo show. So, first, you need to make some goo.

When you mix cornstarch and water in just the right proportions, you get a mixture that has properties of liquid, and properties of a solid. You can pour it like a liquid, it will drip like a liquid, but if you push on it, it behaves like a solid. It’s a state of matter we are calling goo.

Now, show us your creativity.

Now that you have some goo, what do you do with it? That’s where your creativity comes in! Try something cool, and make a video that shows us what you discovered. Fill out the form below, and give us a link or upload your video. We’ll look through the videos folks submit, and we’ll choose one (or more!) people to spotlight on our next episode. You’ll do your experiment live on the next episode.
