Open House
This is the largest academic event on CSU campus! On February 24, 2024 we’re back with our Annual Open House at the CSU Lory Student Center. This event featured 200+ hands-on science experiments, interactive presentations, and science parters from CSU and beyond. This free, public event was attended by 10,000 people!
Spring Science Extravaganza
The SSE is a free day of outdoor science fun! This even is appropriate for all ages and will feature some of our favorite interactive science experiments, demos and presentations that are too big or messy to do indoors, as well as some of our science partners from around CSU and beyond.
The 2022 SSE will take place on Saturday, April 23 from 11 A.M. TO 3 P.M on the CSU main campus.
Weather and Science Day
In 2013, 2014, and 2015, Little Shop of Physics and the College of Natural Sciences teamed up with the Colorado Rockies and 9News to teach a large-scale science lesson at Coors Field! In 2015 there were over 12,000 people in attendance, making it unofficially the largest science lesson ever taught!
